About Maniac Productions

Maniac Productions, founded by Michael Seitzman, is a film and television company in an overall deal at Blumhouse Television. 

In just its first year, Maniac has set up a number of projects, including: Blumhouse’s Ghost Story: The Battersea Poltergeist, a horror anthology; Choir, a scripted and companion unscripted show, based on the Detroit Youth Choir, both at Disney+; Cholitas, a feature comedy at 20th Century Studios; and a feature thriller based on John Grisham’s The Testament.

Prior projects include the hit ABC medical drama Code Black; Intelligence on CBS; and the final season of Quantico on ABC. Seitzman and Maniac were previously in an overall deal with Disney ABC Studios.
